A COMMUTER who attacked a bus driver while the latter was driving a double-decker was fined $4,000 yesterday.迷你倉Chng Eng Khiang, 57, pleaded guilty to causing hurt to Mr Xu Tingqiang by a rash act which endangered the personal safety of others on the SBS Transit bus travelling along Boon Lay Avenue on Aug 9 this year.The court heard that Mr Xu, 34, a Chinese national, stopped at a bus stop near River Valley High School to allow passengers to alight before resuming driving.Chng, a cle迷你倉樂器ner, wanted to alight at the bus stop but stood up only after the victim had started driving out of the bus stop lane. He pressed the bell three times but the victim did not stop the bus.Chng then walked up to Mr Xu and started scolding him. An argument ensued and Chng hit him three times on the left side of his head.
